Information Security (InfoSec) entails ensuring the security of information across all aspects as it is transmitted via a medium to the recipient. It encompasses security at both the media or network level and the system or computer level. The security aspects involved align with the CIA Triad concept: Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability. A Security Operations Center (SOC) training course—funded by a DSDM grant—is required for Information Security; it will be held in Surabaya from August 18–21, 2026, and attended by one Infrastructure and Network staff member and one Cyber Security staff member.
