The Penetration Testing Training and Competency Certification (under the Penetration Tester scheme) serves as a cybersecurity competency development initiative designed to balance theoretical understanding with hands-on laboratory practice, ensuring participants go beyond merely grasping penetration concepts. The four-day training took place in Yogyakarta from August 4–7, 2026, and was attended by one Cyber Security staff member and one Infrastructure and Network staff member from DSTI.
